The time zone will attempt to automatically set when you first sync your SkyBell device to the SkyBell app. However, if you notice that the timestamp in your activity recordings is incorrect you may need to manually configure the time zone in your app.
Follow these instructions to configure your SkyBell Video Doorbell's Time Zone.
- Open the SkyBell app
- Go to My Devices (house icon on the bottom left)
- Open Device Settings for your affected SkyBell (gear/cogwheel icon on the top right of SkyBell camera preview)
- Scroll down to the Time Zones section and tap Device Location
- Select your UTC offset
- Find your UTC offset: https://www.timeanddate.com/time/map/
- Select your time zone identifier, usually by selecting the nearest city to your location.
- List of all time zone identifiers: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_tz_database_time_zones
- Tap SAVE CHANGES
PLEASE NOTE: Android users on SkyBell Gen5 v1.235.1 with Dark Mode enabled may not be able to see the list in the UTC offset and time zone dropdowns. Temporary workaround: disable Dark Mode from Android Settings > Display |
