In the event of media request by law enforcement, SkyBell Technologies will require valid documentation authorized by a court of law requesting the retention of media/content. Types of valid and legally binding requests include valid subpoena, search warrant, preservation request, or other court order. |
If the main SkyBell account holder is working in conjunction with law enforcement, it is possible for the account holder to download any pertinent media while logged into their SkyBell account providing the content was not manually deleted prior by the account holder or that the media was saved locally before the end of the accounts media retention window.

Video content that customers download and save to their local devices are under full control and management of the individual user who downloaded the media to their mobile device.
SkyBell has no control or management of any media downloaded and saved on user devices.
SkyBell Technologies asks that all content requests by law enforcement be handled electronically via our ticket creation system. Ticket requests will be handled in the order they are received with an aim for turn around within a 48-hour period less Sundays and non-business hours.
