In the SkyBell app you now have the ability to set Tones and Volumes that play directly on the SkyBell Device for your visitors to know that either a button presses, or motion detection event has been triggered.
Tones and Volume Settings Location
- Open the SkyBell mobile app
- Tap on the "My Devices" (house) icon.
- Tap on the white Gear/Cog at the top right of the device window
- Scroll down Audio Settings and tap on Tones and Volume
Slider Function
- Button Tone Slider - Use this slider to adjust volume of the button press at the SkyBell.
- Slide to the right to make the sound louder
- Slide to the left to make the sound quieter
- Slide all the way to the left and then the button next to it should be colored grey and the text should read "Button tone off"
- Motion Tone Slider - Use this slider to adjust volume of the Motion Trigger at the SkyBell.
- Slide to the right to make the sound louder
- Slide to the left to make the sound quieter
- Slide all the way to the left and then the button next to it should be colored grey and the text should read "Motion tone off"
All sliders will Auto Save.
Tone Selection
You can select from different tones to play on your SkyBell Device for both motion triggers and button press triggers.
- Scroll to find a Tone you want to hear
- To listen on your mobile device - Tap Play Here
- To listen on your SkyBell Device - Tap Play on Doorbell / Chime
- To set sound for Button Press - Tap on Set for Doorbell
- To set sound for Motion - Tap Set for Motion
