Helpful TipsSince we are trying to stop false motion triggers, you may want to select a couple of blocks around the space you believe is triggering motion. You would be surprised how much an object like a tree actually moves. If you want the SkyBell to only "see" a small amount of space, use the SELECT ALL option to block out everything, and then unselect what you DO want to see. For SkyBell devices like HD4.0, Trim1, and Slim1 If you disable more than 50% of the zones, keep your sensitivity setting high otherwise you will lower the sensitivity too much and your SkyBell won't see anything. |
Since every install is a little different be sure to test your Motion Zones multiple times to ensure the response from the SkyBell is what you are intending.
