For doorbell circuits containing a digital chime, a Digital Doorbell Adapter will be required.
The purpose of the Digital Adapter is to allow the SkyBell to maintain power in a closed circuit while isolating the chime, preventing it from ringing constantly and ringing only when needed.
Only Digital chimes that can be connected in the same manner as a mechanical chime, with no internal power supply, are compatible with the Adapter.

Once the SkyBell has been synced in the mobile app, you will need to enable "Digital Doorbell" in the 'Indoor Chime' section of the device settings in the app. This will ensure that when the SkyBell's button is pressed the adapter will divert the necessary power to the chime and allow it to play its tune completely before once again isolating it from the circuit.
**The Digital Adapter is not compatible with "Hybrid" or "Pipe" Chimes (chimes containing a digital input but use mechanical output to ring multiple bells in sequence).**
