Tired of that tree branch or flag in your yard triggering false positive motion alerts?
With the introduction of the SkyBell Gen5 App we provide a way to tune your motion detection!
How To Use Motion Zones

- Select the Gear Icon at the Top Right of the SkyBell you want to adjust.
- If you have not done so, enable Motion Detection (click here to learn how).

- Tap on Motion Zones*

Helpful Tips
- Since we are trying to stop false motion triggers, you may want to select a couple of blocks around the space you believe is triggering motion. You would be surprised how much an object moves.
- If you want the SkyBell to only "see" a small amount of space, use the SELECT ALL option to block out everything, and then unselect what you DO want to see.
- For SkyBell devices like HD4.0, Trim1, and Slim1 If you disable more than 50% of the zones keep your sensitivity setting high otherwise you will lower the sensitivity too much and your SkyBell won't see anything.
